Financial Framework Partners
Financial Framework Partners is an RIA firm that wanted to make a website that would draw in a younger generation compared to their current clientele. To do this, I made a site that I believed would feel friendlier, as managing money can seem daunting, so friendly colors mixed with traditionally calming ones is what I made. To keep it professional, I also kept the organization and shapes easy to follow. Even without access to actual statistics from the client, I was able to make the site look approachable.
How Indiana Joined in Making America Equal in the Civil War
The Indiana Historical Society asked for a page to celebrate Indiana’s 250th Anniversary of being founded. I created an informative article about Indiana’s part in the Civil War. I used the colors of the Civil War’s Union side, blue and gray, to symbolize which side we were on, and I used several sources to draw information from to create a clear picture of what we did to help win the war and end slavery. I was unsure of what kind of picture the client wanted me to create with the article, but I was able to write Indiana with a realistic but overall good light.
Pere Marquette Painting - Make Your House Look Like It's Part of Your Life
Pere Marquette Painting is a painting company in Lake County, Michigan that did not have a website. So, I made one for them. To draw viewers to the site, I tried to market it as a company that would bring their home to life, in terms of a place they would want to live in and wouldn’t feel cold or generic, according to the customer’s vision of what they want their home to be. I believed that customers would be more willing to hire a painting company if they were assured the company would listen to what they wanted rather than just doing a generic job of it. I also personalized it with my design for the heading background, to really convey that they don’t just work, but paint. I also made sure all of the relevant contact and location information was seen rather than just told, for the viewers who were more visual than liberal. I believe I have created a site that is approachable and marketable, as I was asked to do,
